I never seen a General Electric vaccuum cleaner like it before. Good to see it is working again after you fixed it. It is a vacuum cleaner in disguise because it is in a paint tin XD. It looks to be from the 1960s & the 1970s. It sounds like it has alot of suction from when you blocked the intake.

I have one of those bucket shop vacs, but mine has both the hose input and outputs on the lid, so you can use any bucket. It also uses a car type air filter.

This is how things should be made, lol! Still i hear some squealing sounds at spindown, is it just air whistling somewhere in it? I personally would use something like that blower for a vac, lol. Something with an induction motor, rather.
